The Opportunity:
TrueCar seeks a data-driven and innovative Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Lead to join our Performance Marketing team. In this pivotal role reporting to the Director of Performance Marketing, you will develop, execute, and optimize paid media strategies to drive measurable business results. You’ll manage end-to-end campaign operations within Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads platforms and play a key role in scaling our SEM efforts. As a member of our in-house team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to directly impact our marketing performance while collaborating across teams to align strategies with broader objectives.
How you will contribute to TrueCar’s success:
- Build, manage, and optimize SEM campaigns in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads platforms to achieve KPIs.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and optimize existing campaigns.
- Develop and implement sophisticated bidding strategies, including automated rules and machine learning.
- Design and execute test-and-learn initiatives to uncover insights and scale performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, analytics, and product, to align SEM strategies with company goals.
- Conduct in-depth performance analyses, creating actionable insights to refine and scale campaigns.
- Own SEM budgets and campaign performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
