The Scrum Master Senior role requires an individual who has proficiency within several of the following disciplines: leadership skills, self-motivated, detail oriented, ability to handle multiple teams, ability to problem solve, and deliver successful results. The position serves as the point of contact for all Sprint cycles and will interface with all parties including the business line product owners, technical development team, product team members and third parties (vendors) to their assigned team (s). The Scrum Master Senior partners with other Scrum Masters to teach, coach and mentor. The Scrum Master Senior needs to possess a robust understanding of the businesses they support, at an industry and market level, allowing them to drive key elements/milestones into a Product Roadmap that will be driven by the Product Director/Product Owner of a Product Team.

This person will,

  • Coach adoption, application, and implementation of Agile values, principles, and practices

  • Lead/co-lead point of contact for critical technical (direction) partners

  • Leverage OKRs and metrics to track progress toward the completion of sprint commitments and program-level objectives

  • Manage sync and meetings across multiple business lines

  • Organize and facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning for applicable team

  • Recommends methods and techniques to achieve optional results. Creates processes to support high quality development and releases of new features adding value to our products

  • Train and coach others on the importance and process of Program Increment (PI) planning

  • Utilize and implement enterprise Jira work management guidelines

Requirements

Experience

  • 5-6 years of experience in banking, software, Agile scrum, or project management Required

  • 5-6 years of experience in Progressive responsibilities, knowledge, and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts of project management/Agile methodologies Preferred

  • 5-6 years of experience in leading projects in a project management role or as an Agile practitioner. Portfolio and project management (PPM) tool and/or Agile methodology tools including Jira, KanBan Preferred
