The Role:

The Scrum Master position at iA is dedicated to guiding teams, product owners, and the organization in implementing Agile/Scrum methodologies to optimize software development processes. Key responsibilities involve promoting team collaboration, removing obstacles, creating a safe and open work environment, and encouraging ongoing improvement. This role is crucial in aligning development activities with iA’s mission to deliver cutting-edge pharmacy automation solutions, enhancing scalability, efficiency, and patient care.


 What you'll do:

  • Guide product owners, software teams, and organizational units in applying Agile/Scrum concepts to enhance team effectiveness in designing and improving iA’s NEXiA® software suite and pharmacy fulfillment solutions.
  • Encourage teams to complete tasks autonomously, fostering collaboration without coercion or micromanagement, essential for developing automation systems that support pharmacy efficiency.
  • Lead discussions and mediate conflicts effectively to ensure smooth development processes for iA’s centralized and community-based pharmacy solutions.
  • Empower teams to maximize their ability to self-organize, critical for creating scalable and adaptable fulfillment systems like robotics and inventory management software.
  • Utilize servant leadership to support teams, emphasizing value-driven principles, mirroring iA’s commitment to empowering pharmacies with time-saving automation.
  • Evaluate team and organizational Scrum proficiency, coaching them toward higher levels of Agile maturity to meet iA’s goals for innovative and scalable solutions.
  • Create a culture of trust where team members feel comfortable raising issues without fear of blame, fostering innovative problem-solving for pharmacy automation challenges.
  • Actively address obstacles that hinder the development of iA’s prescription fulfillment software, ensuring minimal downtime and uninterrupted development workflows.
  • Identify and elevate significant issues to management to align development priorities with iA’s strategic objectives.
  • Act as a voice of authority to uphold Agile principles, ensuring that iA’s solutions are delivered efficiently and meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Organize and moderate meetings to enhance collaboration, ensuring alignment on tasks such as feature development for NEXiA® and robotics integration.
  • Collaborate on release plans, enforcing deadlines to ensure timely delivery of iA’s pharmacy solutions, such as centralized fulfillment platforms.
  • Assist product owners in refining and maintaining backlogs for iA’s automation projects, ensuring features align with client needs and industry standards.
  • Enhance personal skills and knowledge to introduce new tools and techniques that improve team performance, advancing iA’s innovative capabilities in the pharmacy sector.
  • Communicate internally and externally to improve clarity and alignment, essential for delivering complex pharmacy solutions that integrate seamlessly with third-party systems.


Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and Scrum methodology.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC).
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills to address team challenges and resolve conflicts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience working with Azure DevOps (or similar), Smartsheet, and Power BI strongly preferred.


It would be great if you also have:

  • Master’s degree, such as an MBA or a Master’s in Project Management or Technology preferred
  • Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM).
  • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
  • SAFe Scrum Master certification.
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
  • Hands-on experience with scaled Agile practices and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific processes, such as pharmacy automation and integration Success in helping teams achieve higher levels of Scrum maturity.
  • Ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and effective collaboration.

Compensation:

 The estimated base annual salary range for this position is $81,405.00 to $110,136.00, though a candidate’s base annual salary shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience. This position may additionally be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
