The Role:

We are expanding our Project Management Office (PMO) team and are excited to announce an opportunity for a Scrum Master & Agile Coach. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges in identity verification (IDV), fraud detection, risk mitigation, real estate, and financial services (fin-tech) using red violet’s big data solutions. Our current product suite includes a wide range of solutions, including APIs, web applications, mobile apps, and batch processing tools, designed to enable comprehensive identity research and deliver innovative outcomes for our clients.

What You Will Do:

• Acting as Scrum Master/Team Coach for up to 3 Agile scrum teams as assigned by leadership.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with leadership to align agile practices with organizational goals and objectives.
• Track team capacity and velocity.
• Assist in the implementation of agile tools and metrics to measure and improve team performance..
• Identify and remove impediments for team productivity and project progress.
• Create Jira tickets (Stories, bugs, spikes, and tasks) in support of objectives. 
• Guide and coach teams to align with project goals and agile practices, managing multiple priorities while fostering a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives and effective risk management..
• Ensure effective communication and alignment with all stakeholders, including leadership, Product, and cross-departmental teams, to facilitate seamless project delivery..
• Motivate and inspire team members to meet project goals, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Develop and deliver agile training programs for team members and stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years’ acting as a Scrum Master.
• Experience or knowledge in the following Areas: Agile software development, agile methodologies, software development life cycle management, cross-functional teams. 
• Proven ability to coach and mentor teams at various levels of agile maturity.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership, ask insightful questions, and drive projects to successful completion. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to lead project meetings and drive efforts forward independently.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP.
