THE ROLE

We are looking for a senior SAP Supplier Management Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP SRM and SLP functionality for a short-term client engagement. As a SAP Supplier Management expert, you will bring your Industry, Process and Best Practices knowledge to the client engagement and provide leadership on potential areas of optimization and improvement. The role is fully remote but working hours will need to overlap with the Pacific Time zone.


YOU WILL

  • Provide an independent consultative assessment of the clients SAP Supplier Management system and determine business fit and alignment with Industry Best Practices.
  • Perform an analysis of the current state of SAP application configuration to assess whether it meets the business requirements of the organization.
  • Bring a consultative mind set and personality to conduct this engagement, document and present findings to cross functional teams and executive leaders.
  • Identify whether Best Practices were adopted and implemented during the project phase.
  • Make recommendations on areas where the business could benefit from changes or modifications to the application to ensure it meets the business objective.
  • Provide substantiation from other engagements or industry publications that align with your recommendations.


YOU HAVE

  • 10+ years of SAP Supplier Management functional and technical expertise covering Supplier Lifecycle Performance and Supplier Management.
  • A good understanding of supply chain management, procurement and purchasing as well as the analytical skills to lead the entire project.
  • Experience working with a GSI or Consulting organization that led clients through business transformation or optimization solutions.
  • Recent experience leading, configuring, and deploying SAP Supplier Management functionality will be a key requirement.
  • Strong communication skills to lead assessment sessions, engage with project teams, and provide executive confidence on subject matter areas around optimization, gaps etc. will be key.
  • Work with a sense of urgency and operate in a demanding client environment.
  • Earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems with a master’s degree (preferred).
  • Have the ability and willingness to work remotely but be available during Pacific Time Zones.


Pay Rate: Contracting rate $100-$120/hr.
