Job Description:

General Purpose of Position:

SAP SD expert who has done at least one full life cycle implementation on S/4HANA and at least 3 full lifecycle implementations on ECC.  The candidate will lead the delivery team on both small and large projects. The candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot and recommend alternatives to resolve conflicts between business requirements and standard system functionality.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  •        Define and manage the deliverables of functional team to meet engagement objectives and budget
  •        Be a hands on application expert and prepare / review project deliverables (e.g. benefits realization strategy, to-be functional requirements, enterprise structure, business process master list (BPML), business process design document, to-be functional design, baseline configurations (IMG), process maps, control matrices, testing scenarios, user acceptance tests, business process procedures) to ensure they meet project objectives
  •        Build and maintain relationships with key executives, business personnel, SME and a network of professional organizations or affiliations
  •        Utilize and apply best practices on projects based on experience and in consultation with experts; appropriately tailored for the client and their culture
  •        Estimate total effort for the application team within the area of expertise
  •        Lead design workshops with the client.

Skills and Experience

  • This position will support our client who is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). It involves access to information subject to ITAR. Due to urgent timelines and immediate placement needs, individuals selected for this position must be U.S. persons. U.S. persons include U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs), and certain classes of protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), including Asylees and Refugee
  •        10+ years of SAP experience as an SAP implementation consultant in the SAP SD module
  •        2+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience and at least 1 S/4HANA end to end implementation experience
  •        Experience designing and improving business process and controls with deep business process re-engineering experience
  •        Experience in SAP implementations for mill products preferred
  •        Must have experience with SAP S/4HANA System Conversion and Fiori apps
  •        Must have experience in writing functional specifications for WRICEF
  •        Must know processes and configurations in the areas of Quote to Order, Order to Cash, Billing, Pricing, Order Management, Deliveries, return orders, internet sales and its integration with MM, PP, PS, QM and FI/CO
  •        Knowledge and experience with CRM or integration to C4/HANA and IBP will be preferred
  •        S/4 HANA SD Certification preferred
  •        At least three E2E SAP projects implementation experience
  •        Business and IT experience with experience in implementing and operating SAP applications
  •        Thorough understanding of the multiple SAP modules and the ability to research & apply business best practices
  •        Demonstrated ability to communicate project goals and objectives, project status and deliverables with senior executives
  •        Experience and knowledge of ACTIVATE Methodology
  •        Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivating and be able to plan your own work.

Education and or Training

  •        Undergraduate degree required in math, computer science, engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus (preferred).
  •        Primarily Remote but require travel to client site after COVID situation improves

Other Qualifications:

  • This Role Follows ITAR regulation, The client is in a controlled goods program environment and must comply with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which mandates that all applicants be U.S. Person.
  • This role might require 50% travel

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $114,200 - $212,000.
