SAP Master Data Governance Sr Configuration Analyst – Greensboro, NC

DUTIES:

  • Implement and support the SAP S4 Fashion Solution for the individual SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) team within the Global implementation and then implement and support the long-term support initiatives for the MDG team.
  • Engages in business process design for master data management, master data integration to all downstream systems, customer, vendor and material data management and application support of other non-SAP solutions.
  • Partner with business, Integrators, and IT teams to design and implement Master Data Governance (MDG) deliverables within the budgetary guidelines mutually agreed upon with IT Management and the business areas supported and that the results are of a consistently high quality that meet the business needs.
  • Responsible for the integrity, availability, and security of assigned Master Data Governance (MDG) functionality to meet established IT goals.
  • Define and configure key processes that drive MDG solutions, integration, and processes.
  • Map functional capabilities of IT systems to meet business requirements.
  • Accountable for future IT functional and technical design, configuration, and integration of the SAP S4 Fashion MDG and other MDG Solutions.
  • Follow Project workplans to implement ERP activities in line with SAP and 3rd Party changes.
  • Define and document processes, WRICEF, Functional Specifications, test plans/scripts, deployment plans and legacy appl. Changes.
  • Design, deliver, implement, configure/develop and support SAP MDM module, including other SAP (i.e. FI, MM, PP, WM, and SD) and non-SAP applications integrated with SAP. Provide ongoing support to new business processes and system enhancements. Support Master data conversion across all platforms and all regions.
  • Support SAP MDG Processes and Configuration, Data Migration & Conversion Approach, data analysis, data cleansing, data conversion design, development, Mock Cutover/Dry Run Testing, maintenance and support for the delivery of multiple global SAP deployments; working closely with Business and IT Data Leadership, SAP Functional Leads / Analysts to understand the data functional requirements that drive the conversion design that are aligned with business and IT strategies, and are in compliance with the organization’s architectural standards.
  • Participate in key process workshops & issue resolution sessions.
  • Contribute to the future IT solution design, testing, deployment, and change management.
  • Provide updates to reviews of program deliverables and status.
  • Partner with 3rd Parties for GDS, LN to SharePoint integration, Global application changes.
  • Support data cleansing/migration activities.
  • Support of non-SAP Applications including Methodfuel GDS (custom), EDI for Master Data, etc.
  • Ensure consistent definition and compliance of security.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of experience in SAP MDG or MM configuration and programming OR Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and 3 years of experience in SAP MDG or MM configuration and programming

Other required experience:

  • 3 years of experience with Material Master and related objects, Material lifecycle, EDI support for materials, material-price integration, Vendor Master, and Reporting.
  • 3 years of experience with integration testing
  • 3 years of experience with Security Design related to Master Data Governance Functionality
  • 3 years of experience with Integration to external partners and other internal systems including eCommerce, EDI, WMS Solutions and B2B Integration
  • 3 years of experience with cutover planning and execution
  • Experience with at least 1 SAP lifecycle implementation
  • Demonstrated knowledge* of:
    • Vendor Master, MDG Master Data, PIR’s, Purchasing Contracts, Purchasing Management, Inbound Delivery Processing, Logistics/Distribution, Returns, STO, Reporting, and Vendor EDI
    • S4 Fashion / FMS / AFS or SAP Apparel and Footwear or Consumer Products industry experience including functional specification of WRICEF including integration points.

Travel: Up to 20% travel to Kontoor locations in the US and internationally.         SALARY: $120,973 - $146,423/year
