Job Description

Fabletics is currently looking for a Sample Coordinator.

How Do You Fit In?

As the Sample Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing your specific SMS category and ensuring all product samples are tracked, prepped, and delivered on time. You will work closely with the Product Creation team to meet delivery deadlines and maintain sample quality, while facilitating showroom readiness through organization, daily upkeep, and line review preparation. You’ll also oversee the movement of samples in and out of five showrooms, schedule styling walkthroughs for photoshoots, and maintain consistent communication with cross-functional teams by updating trackers and sharing product updates. This role calls for a detail-oriented, proactive individual who can balance logistical tasks with strategic coordination in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This position will report to the Director, Product – Creative.

What You’ll Do:

• The Sample Coordinator is responsible for their specific SMS category

• Fulfill all sample requests and ship out product when necessary

• Create product trackers for each showroom

• Maintain open line of communication with Product Creation to track orders regularly and minimize vendor delays. Work with leadership when issues arise

• Each showroom, complete 3 product pass offs with Product Creation, for specific category

• Organize their category’s showroom racks and confirm complete studio size run has been received for each style

• Work with Product Creation team to ensure samples arrive by DDD and timelines are kept

• Maintain and organize showrooms throughout each day

  • This includes organizing racks, folding down showrooms, pulling product requests, completing go-backs, etc.

• Share out product updates to Studio Team and cross functional partners

• Prep samples for all line reviews and pre- production meetings

• Mastermind samples inflow and outflow. Always maintain 5 showrooms.

• Pull and prep racks for all photoshoots and schedule walkthroughs w/ styling team before each shoot.

• Share out product trackers with cross functional partners

• Work with the other sample coordinators to manage timelines and showrooms

• Work directly with the Product Manager to place Fulfillment Center orders as needed

Additional Responsibilities

• Fulfill Exec Requests

• Ensure proper number of samples have been ordered for celeb campaigns

• Check mailroom for deliveries

• Unpack, organize and hang all FC orders

• Administrative Tasks

• Planning each day’s tasks

• Forecasting upcoming shoots and projects and planning accordingly

• Updating product trackers consistently

• Other duties as assigned.

What You Can Bring:

• 1-2 years professional work experience in an apparel brand preferred.

• Organization and time management skills are a must

• Ability to take direction well, work independently, as well as in a group setting

• Must be a team player with an optimistic attitude

• Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills

• Must have proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, provide a high level of attention to detail

• Must be able to multitask, managing multiple deadlines at once

• Must be able to move racks and lift boxes of SMS daily

• The skills, abilities and physical demands described in this job description represent requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities of this role

• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Excel and Power Point)

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Fashion, or Design preferred.

*Varied for retail, fulfillment and fully remote roles. 

The hourly range for this position is from $22.85-$27.85/hr. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered hourly rate will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
