Mutual of Omaha is seeking an Engineer proficient in Salesforce application development and preferred MuleSoft integration experience. In this role, you will define, develop, implement, and support API integrations with Third-Party Benefit Administrators using an API and Event architecture. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Compensation (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications)
    • Engineer I: $95,000 - $115,000, plus annual bonus opportunity
    • Engineer II: $115,000 - $130,000, plus annual bonus opportunity
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Performs multiple roles and responsibilities: Uses models to design and develop new or enhanced business technologies, evaluates options, and performs trade-off analyses. Can take on roles such as an individual contributor, lead, teacher, or mentor.
  • Design and development expertise: Creates, reuses, and experiments with designs and design artifacts. Applies software engineering principles to infrastructure and operations, focusing on automation and self-healing.
  • Adherence to best practices: Actively follows the software development lifecycle and DevOps practices while experimenting with emerging technologies to anticipate future impacts.
  • Application and systems support: Responsible for the development, maintenance, testing, and integration of applications and systems that support business operations.
  • Solution design and customization: Participates in designing new solutions aligned with Target Architecture principles, focusing on customer experience and product mindset. Develops custom components, triggers, and pages using APEX, Aura, LWC, and guided flows.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Strong knowledge of the Sales Force Service Cloud module and experience with email to case logic.
  • Designs and executes customized solutions leveraging the SFDC toolset utilizing best practices.
  • Maintains and enhances quality of systems and data through effective design, maintenance, and security in the Salesforce.com instances.
  • Integration of Salesforce with other systems through APIs.

  • Ability to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and in a listed location.

PREFERRED:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year accredited college or university
  • You have experience with implementing and maintaining a Salesforce CRM application
  • You have a working knowledge of APIs and system-to-system integrations, as well has familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs systems, and have developed and maintained Mulesoft APIs
