Salesforce Developer: Tier 1
REMOTE WORKER
SFI is searching for a Salesforce Developer to join our team to support a stable multi-year client program. This is a full-time position (with benefits) and is fully funded. The candidate will provide technical support to maintain and operate an enterprise Salesforce infrastructure and provide necessary maintenance and service desk support for Salesforce solutions.
- BS or BA in CS, CIS, EE, Math or equivalent technical studies.
- 2 years overall IT experience
- 1 year of experience in Salesforce development
- Deep understanding the Salesforce platform, including its architecture, data model, customization capabilities and integration points with other systems
- Familiarity with Salesforce automation tools like Process Builder, Flows, and Apex
- Proactive problem solver with good planning and organization skills
Desired Skills & Qualifications (Not required)
- Experience working in an Agile or SAFe environment
- Federal Salesforce experience
Primary Responsibilities
The Salesforce Developer responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Deliver help, troubleshooting and escalation services.
- Tier 1 technician will address basic customer issues such as solving usage problems as they arise and fulfilling service desk requests that need IT involvement.
Typical issues may include, but are not limited to:
- System access and performance problems (e.g., user cannot log into the system)
- Performance problems (e.g., slow response times, system crashes)
- User interface problems (e.g., approvals not processing, errors in automated actions)
- Error message troubleshooting (e.g., identifying the cause of system error messages).
- Provide necessary evaluation and implementation of platform and security updates and patches
- Provide assistance in the completion of scheduled infrastructure or software upgrades conducted by Salesforce
- Monitor services to the ensure the fitness of the Salesforce platform and systems supporting NSF on a daily basis
- Create an Operational Verification Checklist for each NSF system that will be verified daily to ensure normal business operations
- Oversee account administration including activation and de-activation of users and performing password reset
- Respond to corrective maintenance when an issue is detected in monitoring or when some other change occurs in the system’s environment that impacts performance or causes the system to fail.
- Provide support for scheduled and ad-hoc reporting including determining reporting needs and system capabilities
