The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a CBG USAC Sales Training & Development Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Lead all aspects of the sales training and development pillar.
  • Develop and manage new sales representatives onboarding program.
  • Manage all aspects of the summer internship program
  • Evaluate and implement selling skills training curriculum utilizing both corporate and external solutions.
  • Collaborate with other CBG Area Sales Trainers on Global Sales Training initiatives
  • Provide Leadership for Customer Events and Sales Incentive Contests.
  • Represent CBG to corporate sales effectiveness initiatives and other Corporately sponsored programs.
  • Partner with Sales VPs, National, and Regional Managers to monitor sales performance relating to product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Manage the sales sample process, policies and reporting.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in demand generation roles (sales, or a combination of sales, marketing & customer service) in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Three (3) years of experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Industry in a demand generation role.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree from an accredited institution.
  • Action-oriented with a strong focus on execution and results.
  • Proven ability to manage projects with multiple workstreams and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with leading teams to adopt digital tools, technology, and growing related skills
  • Demonstrated success in providing innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills to engage senior executives.
  • Self-starter with a hands-on approach, diplomatic, flexible, and team oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI
  • Experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Industry
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma process improvement as a team leader or participant

Work location:

  • Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $188,251 - $230,084, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
