Sales Trainer
Eastbourne
Sales Trainer
Our aim is to allow companies to use great movie and programming content while ensuring that content creators get paid fairly for their work.
We are on a truly exciting journey as a company. We’re growing quickly, investing in our teams, and we have bold plans to make 2025 our best year ever. As part of our growth we are hiring for a Sales Trainer to join the HR team.
The job in two bullet points:
This role is perfect for somebody with experience in either training and coaching staff or a sales role who wants to take the next step into a brand new role in a growing company. With offices across the world, we want to ensure our training is conducted to the same high standard regardless of where anyone is based.
Our Sales Trainer will review and optimise sales messaging and tactics, and will coach individuals and teams to improve performance and enable them to meet and exceed their targets. A person in this role must exhibit flexibility, recognising that different sales approaches are suitable for different people and in different territories.
To ensure existing staff stay on track you’ll often be tasked with reviewing call recordings and emails in detail and identifying areas for coaching and improved performance among staff.
You’ll need to be comfortable making decisions and evaluating how individuals are performing and delivering feedback to managers on new and existing staff.
You’re all about continuous improvement! We think we’re already doing a pretty good job of training our sales staff, but we can always do better! Our ideal candidate will enter this role and suggest improvements to our process and not be content to always do things in the same way if we could be doing it better. Changes will be based on the data of what is performing well and feedback from the sales staff about what they’d like to see in future.
Training is challenging, and you’ll need to be comfortable identifying issues, having difficult conversations with staff and managers, and communicating constructive criticism when people aren’t hitting the mark.
You’ll need to be open to trying new ways of doing things, and be comfortable admitting when they aren’t working and you need to change tactics.
We work across multiple time zones with offices in the UK, US, across Europe and even some in Asia! This can be an exciting new challenge as we want staff in every country to benefit from the expertise of our sales trainer, but this means some flexibility with working hours is necessary to ensure time zones are covered.
