 The Sales Support Professional 2 provides timely and effective sales administrative support to assist with the acquisition or retention of customers. The Sales Support Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The Sales Support Professional 2 improves and creates processes to support sales agents and Humana’s sales representative team. The Sales Support Professional 2 makes standard calculations to accurately compile and report statistics to better serve our associates.  They will perform research & data compilation to support the sales team’s activities.  As the Sales Support Professional you will communicate with staff from other areas in the organization to confirm the trends and gather/filter information to resolve customer inquiries.

Typical Responsibilities of this associate may include:

-Data & Reporting Requests dealing with agent population

-Data analysis to determine agent outreach approach

Required Qualifications

Candidate to meet 1 of the following:

- Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of experience in sales support, marketing support or related field OR

- High School Diploma plus 5 years of experience in sales support, marketing support or related field

Candidates to meet ALL of the following:

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS, SharePoint, emphasis on Excel skills.

- 2-3 years' experience in a role that primarily involves working in Excel

- Prior Data analysis experience

- Demonstrates high level of emotional intelligence

- Ability to anticipate reporting needs and identify areas for improvement

- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in the health solutions or financial industries

Work-At-Home Requirements

At minimum, a download speed of 25 mbps and an upload speed of 10 mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$59,300 - $80,900 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
