About the role

  • A sales specialist answers incoming calls, places outbound calls, and works to sell prospective customers vocational rehabilitation services, healthcare insurance services, and Social Security Disability Income representation services. A sales specialist address customer questions and concerns, so enthusiasm about the company and helping others is crucial.  While they follow scripts, they can improvise when needed to build customer relationships and answer questions.  Here are some key responsibilities:

What you'll do

  • Encourage Sales: Use a prepared script to reference important aspects of the company’s offerings and encourage customers to engage in services.
  • Adaptability: Go off-script when necessary to build relationships or address questions not covered in the script.
  • Customer Support: Advise prospective and current customers by answering their questions and addressing related concerns.
  • Data Management: Update our databases and systems with new information after each customer call and protect sensitive customer data.
  • Documentation: Complete forms and maintain accurate, detailed files for each customer, providing insights into the target audience.
  • Quality Service: Follow organizational standards to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Team Morale: Boost morale by encouraging other sales representatives and fostering a team mentality.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, Associate's Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience
  • Ability to learn, retain, and apply information in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have friendly, customer centric personality, focused on creating a positive experience through sales, education, and relationship building techniques
  • A high level of initiative and drive to succeed, coupled with an ability to independently problem solve.
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, oral, and written professional communication skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer software programs and use a variety of resources
  • Must be flexible, adaptive, and responsive to change
  • Allsup Employment Services requires Federal background check (including fingerprinting process)
  • Schedule: Monday- Friday Days
  • Department Hours: 7am-5:30pm CST
  • Work Type: Remote
  • Compensation: Base Rate plus incentives or commission
