JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Americas Business Operations team is looking to add an expert Sales Operations Manager. The Operations group is responsible for the successful execution of Commvault’s Go-To-Market Strategy by supporting our Sales, Channel and Sales Engineering organizations. We’re responsible for driving consistent execution of our sales process as well owning the region’s budget, account segmentation, territory planning, and field compensation.
Key job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1). Sales Performance Analysis:
Distill sales reports, dashboards, and KPIs to actions and execute plans to insights to improve the businesses GTM capabilities.
Analyze Sales Data to identify trends, and opportunities for improvement and drive programs and sales campaigns in the field to achieve the desired results.
Be the trusted partner of your sales and SE leaders in driving growth in the business.
2). Sales Process Optimization:
Evaluate and streamline sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement best practices and standardize workflows.
Identify areas and implement solutions for automation and leverage technology solutions to improve efficiency.
3). Forecasting and Cadence:
Own sales forecasting and pipeline management activities.
Partner with finance and operations teams to develop accurate revenue forecasts and sales projections.
Drive the execution of the thirteen-week cadence – including QBRs, Forecast calls, Build weeks, and Team training.
4). Sales Enablement Support:
Develop enablement tools, training, and resources to drive higher field productivity.
Be responsible for the 90-day ramp plan for new hires in conjunction with Sales Enablement
Be the trusted partner of Sales and SE team leaders by addressing and resolving compensation, system, or other issues.
5). Data Integrity and Governance:
Maintain data accuracy and integrity with Salesforce – including opportunities and territories.
Regularly review data with Field Team members to ensure deals are accurately reflected and Account coverage is accurate.
Essential Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
