About the Position

The Sales & Operations Coordinator is a critical capacity building role as our Production & Content line of business continues to grow year over year. The role will support across our teams with creative, organizational, and administrative responsibilities to help keep our foundation strong.

 

As a Sales & Operations Coordinator you will 

 

  • Ensure our team’s data integrity – Sales, databases, creating and maintaining job numbers for Events and Content, etc.
  • Assist with the development and monitoring of Monday.com (project management system)
  • Aid in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Assist with project staffing
  • New Business in proposal ideation and development
  • New client research and outreach

 

 

Responsibilities will include (and not limited to):

Sales (50%)
  • Support the New Business team with proposal development and overall project management, including tasks such as: budget requests, creative brainstorming, and deck development
  • In partnership with the New Business team and leadership, present and pitch proposals to external client stakeholders
  • Support in launching new offerings by assisting with prospect and open RFP research, marketing collateral development, and proposal creation
  • Ensure relevant sales data is accurately and timely tracked in Monday.com and Salesforce
  • Assist in brainstorming and developing industry-related or behind the scenes content for social media marketing
Operations & Live Events (50%)
  • Development and monitoring of Monday.com boards
  • Aid in the creation of organizational SOPs
  • Project Staffing –
    • Cross reference Production and Content player assignments
    • Concentration in staffing Content projects - Freelancers and Internal Employees
  • Assist with freelance database management and contract process –
    • Maintain existing freelancer database
    • Add new freelancers to database
    • Manage initial administration of freelance contracts
  • General event-based organization and data entry –
    • Creating and maintaining job numbers for Events and Content projects
    • Assisting in Event and Content documentation organization
  • Miscellaneous operations functions
  • Potential opportunity to travel and participate in on-site Production

 

Knowledge & Skills
  • 2+ years experience in sales, marketing, project management, events, and/or another related field.
  • Strong computer and software skills.
  • Comfortable with Excel (sorting & formatting, basic formulas).
  • Experience with Salesforce or Monday.com is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to prioritize competing projects and deadlines.
  • Strong and effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to creatively solve problems and identify key issues and solutions.
  • Experience in or understanding of the corporate events industry is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in presenting to clients/external audiences is preferred.
  • Ability to nurture and work in fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
  • Ability to build relationships and credibility both with internal teams and external clients at all levels.

 

Schedule

This role is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days per week in our Chicago office to start and occasional travel.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Sales & Operations Coordinator  is between $50,000 - $70,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
