About the Role:

As a Sales Development Representative for OPIS, you will be the initial contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward. You will qualify, validate, and develop new business prospects from multiple sources; including inbound marketing leads, conference and prospect lists, discovery and individual research. You will report to the Director - Inside Sales.

You Will:
  • Become familiar with the OPIS product portfolio 
  • Qualify all inbound leads for the sales team 
  • Establish communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings 
  • Support sales colleagues on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts 
  • Assist sales colleagues by responding to client support requests 
  • Use NetSuite to track all client interactions and provide reporting metrics to sales leaders 
  • Provide internal and external clients with timely assistance thereby cultivating prospect relationships and moving opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Help to generate leads and online traffic with web-based activities and programs in partnership with the Marketing function

You Have:
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in sales development and lead qualification
  • Knowledge of and genuine interest in the energy and fuel industries
  • Demonstrated experience of swiftly learning new products and sales approaches
  • NetSuite (or other CRM solution), Microsoft Office, and Google Suite proficiency
  • University degree -OR- equivalent work experience

Pay Range: $50,000 - $65,000
