Job Description:

DTN is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Xactly Commission Administrator. This role will be an Individual Contributor role and you will be responsible for the accurate and timely administration of our sales commission process using the Xactly Incent platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales compensation structures, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless commission processing. 

Key Responsibilities:

Xactly Incent Platform Management: 

  • Administer the Xactly Incent platform, ensuring accurate configuration of commission plans, rules, and calculations. 

  • Collaborate with revenue operations and finance teams to implement changes and updates to commission plans. 

Salesforce.com data: 

  • Leverage Salesforce.com to gather, validate, and reconcile sales data for commission calculations. 

  • Coordinate with the Salesforce administration team to ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and Xactly Incent. 

Data Integrity and Accuracy: 

  • Ownership over the bookings report used in the commission calculation that incorporates the commissionable values from multiple sources 

  • Maintain and validate sales data integrity to ensure accurate commission calculations. 

Commission Plan Administration: 

  • Work closely with RevOps, sales leadership and human resources to understand and implement commission plans that align with business goals. 

  • Provide support in the design and documentation of commission plans. 

Reporting and Analysis: 

  • Generate and analyze commission-related reports to track performance and identify trends. 

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on commission data analysis. 

Communication and Training: 

  • Communicate commission plan details and changes to the sales team in a clear and timely manner. 

  • Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing education for existing team members on the commission structure and processes. 

Issue Resolution: 

  • Address and resolve inquiries from the sales team regarding commission calculations or payment discrepancies. 

  • Collaborate with IT and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Xactly platform.
