Location: This position is Remote and will require travel up to 20% based on business needs.

Job Overview:

Safety and Sustainability Systems & Tools Manager will manage the continuous development, implementation, training, tracking, reporting, and performance of all safety and sustainability systems and data collection tools. This position shall support all Sodexo Live! goals of continual improvement including the primary injury metrics system and other applicable systems implementation in coordination with existing and new global programs and requirements, regulatory compliance, and an improved overall zero-harm mindset culture. This position is expected to collaborate with segment leaders and build effective business relationships. This individual shall possess and provide clear & effective communication skills, strong leadership, concentrated guidance, and skilled technical support for all existing and newly implemented Safety & Sustainability systems and tools to ensure compliance with applicable corporate and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy training and user guides.
  • Proactively support the safety coaches and HSE professionals in completing incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action identification, and closure.
  • Develop strong relationships with safety coaches to aid in driving down incident ratios.
    • Train Site Level Management on performing and entering Safety Walks and Near Misses via mobile applications.
  • Provide monthly safety and sustainability data reports to Leadership and ensure accuracy of data displayed on all dashboards.
  • Partner with business leaders and employees to continuously improve the Safety & Sustainability Culture including awareness, training, systems, and tools.
    • Develop strong relationships with regional and local management to ensure effective implementation of both safety and sustainability programs and requirements across the region and within states and provinces.
  • Function as a change management agent to support the change management process for both safety and sustainability
    • Seek out and develop more effective ways to track and report on injuries to safety coaches.

Experience & Skills:

  • Proficiency in Smartsheet's and Microsoft Programs.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of an audience and presenting trainings to operators.
  • Highly motivated, energetic, self-directed individual with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Decision-making ability, with strategic and tactical Safety and Sustainability experience.
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate, both written and oral.
  • Strong computer, project management, and organizational skills required.
