GDIT is seeking a SAFe Agile Scrum Master w/ServiceNow Implementation experience

As a SAFe Agile/Scrum Master, you will be supporting the GDIT TSS ACICs organization required to lead development teams covering multiple systems. You will be involved in Program Increment (PI) planning sessions with government external customer utilizing ServiceNow, JIRA, and MS Project and guiding the team in a fast-paced environment.  As a SAFe Agile Scrum Master, you will be responsible to remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement for the team to reach their goals.

Strong communications skills to collaborate with the external government customer and the Product Owner are required.

HOW A SAFe AGILE /SCRUM MASTER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

As an experienced SAFe Agile/Scrum Master you will be supporting our GDIT TSS ACICs organization in leading transitions and projects. This role requires someone with strong SAFe Agile methodology skills utilizing the ServiceNow, JIRA and MS Project Management tools, external customer facing communications, managing development efforts. You will be heavily involved in PI Planning.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO EXCEED

  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or task(s).
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Responsible for scope, cost, schedule, and performance of assigned project or task(s)
  • Manages or directs resources required to perform assigned project or task(s).

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5+ years of PM experience with at least 3+ years in an Agile environment
  • Experience with ServiceNow implementation and integration projects within Agile contexts
  • 3 years' experience in Federal Government Contracting
  • Proven track record of leading Agile teams and delivering projects using Scrum (preferred), Kanban, or other Agile methodologies
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and facilitating Agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
  • Familiarity with Agile tools like ServiceNow (preferred), JIRA, Trello, or Azure DevOps
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust and Secret Clearance
  • Proactive leadership: takes ownership of driving tasks and projects forward, ensuring continuous progress by anticipating needs and resolving obstacles without waiting for others to initiate action
  • Deep understanding of Agile principles and frameworks
  • Ability to break down complex technical concepts into manageable tasks and actionable steps for team execution
  • Strong servant leadership skills with the ability to empower and support Agile teams
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and skills
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflicts, ensuring team alignment with Agile values

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience scaling Agile practices in large or complex organizations (SAFe, LeSS)
  • Experience with SAFe Agile methodology and supporting projects utilizing SAFe Agile/SCRUM
  • Project Management Experience
  • ServiceNow Kanban, JIRA, MS Project, Kanban

Required Certifications:

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • SAFe Agile Certification or PMI-ACP Certification

Preferred Certifications

  • PMP Certification

The likely salary range for this position is $106,371 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
