We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Process Expert to lead and guide our manufacturing operations area through a successful SAP S/4HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of business processes in a manufacturing environment and have a strong background in SAP ECC. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills and the ability to drive process improvements while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

How you will contribute

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Lead the business process design and reengineering efforts to ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA into our manufacturing and quality operations.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive implementation strategy in alignment with company goals and industry best practices.

Process Analysis & Optimization:

  • Analyses current processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to redesign business processes, ensuring they are optimized for SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

SAP S/4HANA Implementation:

  • Act as the subject matter expert, guiding the implementation team through configuration, customization, and integration processes.

  • Oversee data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data transfer to the new system.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between manufacturing teams and the implementation team.

  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on new processes and system functionalities.

  • Lead testing efforts to guarantee functions correct process.

Change Management:

  • Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

  • Address and resolve any issues, change impacts or concerns that arise during the implementation process.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor post-implementation performance to ensure processes are functioning as expected and delivering anticipated benefits.

  • Propose and implement additional process improvements as needed.

  • This role requires a large knowledge base of several process areas in operations.  The individual needs to be the go-to technical expert in any areas of responsibility within the Materials to Inventory processes.

  • The role requires individual with high influence skills.  Able to work with various groups and personalities to drive the team to consensus while delivering best in class solutions.  A high level of travel across NA required.

  • Responsible for project and process decisions.  Scope of work, approval for acceptance testing, role changes, access, and portfolio management. 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business process analysis and improvement within a manufacturing environment.

  • Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA implementations or similar ERP systems.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules relevant to manufacturing (e.g., PP, MM, PM).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated project management skills, including experience with change management and training.

Travel:

  • Occasional travel may be required based on project needs and stakeholder locations.

Work Environment:

  • This position may involve working in both office and manufacturing environments.

The base salary range for this position is $117,400.00-$161,425.00; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
