Position Summary/Job Duties:

Our child attended Russian-immersion daycare for several years and is comfortably conversational. They will go to Russian school on Saturdays. In an effort to further support their language development, we seek someone to hang out with them 2-3 times a week and interact with them in Russian. Ideally, we'll switch it up and go to various locations: downtown Madison, the Student Union, the zoo, local parks and museums, and so on. We'll transport our child to and from activities, and are happy to give you a lift, too. (We can give you a ride from west or south Madison, around downtown, or from the Verona-Belleville-New Glarus area. Unfortunatley, the north side is too far from us.)

The hours are very flexible - we are available M-F between 5:30 PM and 9 PM and on weekends between 1 PM and 9 PM.

Qualifications:

Fluent Russian speaker

Experience with young children in a family or professional setting a plus (older siblings welcome!)

Responsible and dependable demeanor
