The RPA and Automation Engineer will play a pivotal role in transforming our business operations by identifying, developing, and implementing automation solutions that drive efficiency, reduce manual efforts, and optimize processes across the organization. This position will leverage cutting-edge technologies like Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Power Automate, Azure OpenAI, and Microsoft Chatbots to streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, and deliver impactful results. With a focus on API integrations and ConnectWise optimization, the RPA and Automation Engineer will help us improve service delivery, increase productivity, and enable scalable growth. 

Requirements

What you’ll do: 

  • Design,  develop, and implement automated workflows and solutions using RPA  tools. 
  • Collaborate  with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation and  optimization. 
  • Integrate  various systems and platforms by creating custom API integrations  using REST APIs and JSON. 
  • Utilize  Azure OpenAI services to build intelligent automation solutions and  chatbots. 
  • Develop  and maintain Microsoft Chatbots, Copilot solutions using Microsoft  Copilot Studio
  • Support  and enhance ConnectWise integrations for automated workflows, ensuring a seamless connection between systems. 
  • Test  and troubleshoot automation solutions to ensure scalability and  reliability. 
  • Maintain  documentation for all automated processes, including workflows, integrations, and scripts. 
  • Monitor  and analyze the performance of automation solutions, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. 
  • Stay  up to date with new automation technologies, trends, and best practices to  continually enhance the organization’s automation strategy. 

What makes you a fit: 

  • Bachelor’s  degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field  (or equivalent experience). 
  • Proven experience with RPA technologies (Power Automate, UiPath,  Automation Anywhere, etc.). 
  • Strong proficiency in Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Chatbots (Copilot  Studio), PowerApps and ChatGPT. 
  • Experience  in API development and integration using REST and JSON. 
  • In-depth  knowledge of ConnectWise and its API capabilities. 
  • MSP  experience is a must, with a deep understanding of the unique  requirements and challenges in a managed services environment. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Strong  problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Certification in RPA tools or Microsoft Power Platform is a plus. 
  • Experience  in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell) for automation is  an advantage. 
  • Familiarity with ITSM and automation in managed service provider (MSP) environments. 

Work Location/Remote Status: This position is eligible for remote work, within a state where Managed Solution has payroll operations. Employees will work from a home office within an assigned state. Your presence at our company headquarters in San Diego, CA; at meetings/conferences/off-site events; at client locations; or elsewhere, may be required on occasion. 


Compensation & Benefits* 

Base Wage Range: $90,000 to $115,000 per year 


*Managed Solution considers a range of factors when determining an appropriate wage. Such factors include but are not limited to: years of related experience, industry knowledge, formal education, relevant certifications, and geographic location. Candidates should note that it is not typical for new hires to enter a position at the highest end of a position’s pay range. Wages are paid as earned and in accordance with Company policies.
