The Rostering Solutions Engineer will be responsible for working with state agencies and assigned accounts to find creative rostering solutions that meet their specific needs.  They will partner with Curriculum Associate's internal teams to ensure all contractual reporting components are available via rostering by completing cyclical data reviews.  They will support the pre-sales process by presenting i-Ready’s rostering options to potential customers as needed.  They will utilize their rostering expertise to support districts across the country, and respond to district level RFPs and Technical Questionnaires.  Utilizing the feedback they receive from these different avenues; they will advocate for enhancements with the i-Ready product teams.

The impact you'll have:

Project manage rostering needs for identified strategic accounts and act as the rostering liaison for state educational agencies. Keep up to date with Automated Rostering features and updates to be able to provide creative and sustainable solutions for states and districts. Manage documentation on state nuances and requirements in relation to rostering, as well as create customer-facing rostering documentation and collateral upon request. Complete data analyses to ensure rostering data requirements are set for districts under contract, and work with them when there is missing information. Collaborate with the Sales Engineering team to develop a comprehensive technical approach to ensure the health and stability of district implementations. Serve as rostering consultant on pre-sales calls as needed. Craft responses to district RFPs and technical questionnaires. Advocate for i-Ready Product and Automated Rostering enhancements on behalf of the greater Provisioning Data Services Team. Mentor new members of the team to ensure a smooth onboarding process.  Assist in training new members of the team ensure consistent delivery of services and support.

  • Able to serve as an escalation point for junior members of the team to provide creative solutions to complex issues. 

  • Ability to provide sound technical advice on how to best diagnose and solve customer issues 

  • Able to work independently, with minimal direction and collaboratively, in a team environment  

  • Able to facilitate projects, meetings, and trainings that cater to varying skill levels that are inclusive to the entire group 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 2 years experience managing technical customer relationships

  • Experience managing long and short term projects

  • Strong knowledge of data integration methods; previous knowledge of Clever, Classlink, and OneRoster integrations.

Travel: Up to 8%

Physical Demands: Typical office environment

Pay Range: This role’s range is $51,250 - 84,250. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
