The Opportunity

The Risk Manager supports elements of the Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, and Compliance plans to ensure that elements of the plan are being completed on a timely basis. The Risk Manager works with multiple stakeholders and provides comprehensive data and analysis to support the decisions of the team. This role is part of Ulteig’s Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, and Compliance function.

What You'll Do

  • Run and improve the operational risk program, including:
    • Create and improve the risk and compliance dashboards and documentation,
    • Analyze data to better understand potential risks, concerns and outcomes of decisions,
    • Work with Legal Operations to develop systems and processes for gathering and storing data for future analytic projects,
    • Assist with creating and maintaining business continuity and crisis management plans,
    • Identify and track company events that raise risk and compliance concerns.
  • Run and improve the strategic risk program, including:
    • Collaborate with other team members to effectively analyze data, create reports, summaries, and presentations,
    • Identify economic and financial trends that may impact the company for compliance or risk mitigation,
    • Monitor internal and external data points that may affect the risk level of a decision.
  • Design and get buy-in for an audit program, including:
    • Aggregate data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive assessment, including identifying gaps in available data,
    • Analyze compliance procedures, evaluate potential defects, assist in resolution, and track related issues,
    • Assist with the review and testing of company policies and procedures,
    • Maintain knowledge on risk and compliance requirements and provide support to ensure accurate implementation and execution of the programs.
  • Other assigned projects.

What We Expect from You

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in data analytics and/or business intelligence, risk management, compliance, or legal preferred.
  • Experience in project management or otherwise leading projects with strong interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Possesses well-rounded knowledge, critical thinking skills, and ability to research and understand regulatory changes.
  • Must be detail-oriented, analytical, diligent, a quick learner, and able to manage a variety of competing priorities in a timely manner.
  • Required to have proven experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams).
  • Must be authorized to work permanently in the country where located, and be located in a country where Ulteig is authorized to have employees.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $87,600 - $118,500
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
