What You’ll Do

As an RFP Specialist you’ll manage and coordinate all aspects of the RFP process to ensure seamless and timely delivery of persuasive proposals. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll develop strategies that highlight Cotton Logistics’ unique value and capabilities. Here’s a snapshot of your responsibilities:

• RFP Analysis: Review RFP documents to identify requirements, evaluation criteria, and deadlines, creating a compliance matrix to ensure all requirements are met.
• Proposal Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define win themes, differentiators, and proposal structure that align with client needs.
• Content Creation: Write, edit, and organize proposal content to clearly communicate our capabilities, past performance, and value proposition.
• Compliance Management: Ensure all proposals meet formatting guidelines, content specifications, and submission instructions.
• Proposal Coordination: Manage team contributions, including project managers, SMEs, graphic designers, and executives, to create cohesive proposals.
• Quality Assurance: Organize reviews, incorporate feedback, and make revisions to enhance proposal quality.
• Submission Management: Ensure timely proposal submissions in the required format, handling electronic submissions through portals as needed.
• Post-Submission Activities: Participate in debriefs to identify strengths and areas for improvement while assisting with contract negotiations and kickoff meetings.

What You Bring to the Table

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in RFP management, proposal writing, or project coordination.

Skills:

• Strong writing and editing skills for clear and persuasive proposals.
• Exceptional project management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Analytical thinking to develop strategies aligned with client needs and evaluation criteria.
• Collaboration and communication skills to coordinate efforts across teams.
• Knowledge of compliance standards for government and private-sector RFPs.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous review and adherence to RFP requirements.
