Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F
Location: Primarily remote but may need to go onsite to train users, as needed in all Sentara hospital locations.

Job responsibilities:
Performs a variety of education project development and mentoring tasks to meet the needs of the Revenue Cycle at each facility. Responsible for developing relationships with the leaders of the functional areas tasked with supporting and enhancing the education program by providing feedback to Revenue Cycle Leadership, and teaching, coaching, and mentoring of team members, based off direct observations from supported areas. Required to support multiple functional areas and travel between facilities, based on the needs of the departments they are tasked with supporting.
Required Qualifications:
3 years Registration, Billing OR Collections OR Health Information Management (HIM) experience REQUIRED.
3 years Computer/Keyboard Skills
3 years in Healthcare
Word Processing, Spreadsheet & Presentation Software experience REQUIRED.
Knowledge of Revenue Cycle software systems REQUIRED (EPIC PRELUDE/RESOLUTE).

For HIM team, 3 years chart completion, chart correction, release of information coding or auditing experience required.
Word Processing, Spreadsheet & Presentation Software experience required.
Knowledge of Revenue Cycle software systems required (HBOC,
MCKESSON, EPIC PRELUDE/RESOLUTE).
