The Opportunity
Ulteig is seeking a qualified candidate in a fast-paced environment and rapidly growing company. The Revenue Accountant will report to the Project Accounting Manager. Responsibilities include month-end and year-end close tasks, project analysis and reporting, working with operational groups to identify and analyze projects, supporting various audits, and other relevant projects. The Revenue Accountant will also assist in creating process improvements, maintaining internal controls compliance, liaison with cross functional teams and contribute to building team culture.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for month-end WIP allowance posting and analysis.
- Responsible for WIP related accounts month-end reconciliations.
- Responsible for project related revenue accruals.
- Assist in monthly unearned revenue analysis.
- Assist in monthly financial statement flux analysis and various reporting calculations.
- Participate in revenue recognition analysis to comply with applicable accounting standards.
- Participates in financial audit and Federal Acquisition Regulation Audit.
- Assist with developing, maintaining and monitoring policies, processes and procedures.
- Evaluation, development and documentation of internal control processes.
- Liaison with other departments to provide financial support and collaborate on various projects.
- Transformative thinking to suggest process improvements and create efficiencies.
- All other duties as assigned.
What We Expect from You
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 2-4 years of related accounting experience.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
- ASC 606 Revenue recognition experience is a plus.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle confidential matters related to daily business operations.
- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate analysis to members of management.
- Ability to apply conceptual judgment and take initiative on complex accounting issues.
- Strong organizational/follow-up skills and attention to detail.
- Must be proactive and able to identify and act on company financial needs with minimal direction.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to be organized, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines by setting priorities.
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $62,500 - $84,600
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
