As Retail Sales Associate Director for Club, Specialty and Regional accounts you will be responsible for overseeing aspects of our retail operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the success and growth of our retail business. Exceptional leadership skills, business acumen, and ability to drive results will be instrumental in overseeing these accounts, in order to achieve sales targets, enhance the customer experience, and uphold the brand's reputation.

You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive retail strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives, including identifying opportunities for growth, expansion, and improvement in our retail operations.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and optimize profit margins, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach across retail operations, enhancing the overall customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement customer retention strategies to drive repeat business and foster customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the inventory management team to optimize stock levels, minimize stockouts, and ensure the availability of products to meet customer demand.
  • Work with the visual merchandising team to create compelling store displays and promote product visibility.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor the Club, Specialty and Regional accounts retail team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  • Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, using insights to inform retail strategies and remain competitive.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to develop retail budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor financial performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements across all retail locations.
  • Uphold brand standards and maintain consistency in customer service and store presentation.

Qualification and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience with Club, Specialty and Regional retail accounts (Costco, Sam’s, BJ’s, Meijer, BiMart, Kroger)
  • Demonstrated success in driving retail sales, profitability, and operational efficiency
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to make data-driven outcomes
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of leading high-performing teams
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Visionary mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and steer transformational initiatives
  • Work in a fast-paced, and busy environment
  • Multi-brand or multi category experience preferred
  • Ideally consumer packaged goods experience

This role will be remote with up to 50% travel across the US.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $135,300.00 and $189,420.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law. Apply
