We have an opportunity for you to join our Resourcing team in Human Resources, as a Resourcing Business Partner. This role is offered initially on a 12-month fixed term contract and will be based at our head office in Coventry.
Supporting our ambitious growth plans within Customer Operations, as a Resourcing Business Partner you’ll be accountable for:
- Delivering a highly effective end-to-end recruitment service across one of our key directorates.
- Strategically partnering with managers and senior leaders within your area to design and execute creative recruitment strategies to help attract the best talent into Severn Trent.
- Identifying suitable talent using various sourcing techniques.
- Providing an amazing candidate experience throughout their application journey.
- Building credible relationships with your stakeholders, ensuring you become a trusted ally and subject matter expert within your field.
- Delivering value-add projects for both your business area and the communities we serve and represent.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We’re looking for our Resourcing Business Partner to be engaging, results focussed, comfortable working at pace, possess high integrity and have a passion for doing the right thing.
You’ll be required to manage all permanent vacancies within your business area, so understanding the external talent landscape and how this influences the broader Severn Trent talent strategy will be key. As you’ll be dealing with stakeholders at all levels, you’ll need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
This role is suitable for agency recruiters looking to transition to an in-house environment, or for experienced internal recruiters looking to progress their careers. Due to the nature of the role, we’d be keen to speak with individuals who have a background in managing high-volume recruitment, however this is not essential if you have the right transferable recruitment experience.

- Salary up to £42,000
- 28 days holiday + bank holidays (and the ability to buy/ sell up to 5 days per year)
