Resource Management Intern

SMIT/NMCI is looking for an intern with interest in Resource Management, Compliance, and Security. The ideal candidate will also be a skilled communicator with interest in process improvement and efficiency, including automation. The role will provide board exposure to the NMCI Division.
Primary Responsibilities
NMCI’s Resource Manager coordinates planning, securing, and organizing NMCI talent over the human resources lifecycle. Program management skills and knowledge allow us to engage with corporate and program functional and operational groups on NMCI’s behalf. The role also involves Cybersecurity Workforce compliance policy, management, and oversight. The intern supporting this team can expect to have a combination of routine tasks, coordination with NMCI and other staff, and in-depth projects in process improvement and efficiency. They will impact NMCI’s strategic and operational success.
Basic Qualifications
The program considers college students who have completed 2 years toward their degree—who have demonstrated a record of high performance, and a willingness to learn. Intern Program Criteria:
- Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university in related field of study

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in management
- Major in Business or Technical discipline
- Knowledge relevant to process improvement and efficiency, including automation and application architecture

Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
