Residential Solar Billing Analyst

Job Summary:

As a Residential Solar Operations & Billing Analyst, you are a member of one of IGS’s fast-paced emerging businesses. A Residential Solar Operations & Billing Analyst is responsible for a variety of operations related tasks such as customer billing, email and an IGS in-house ticketing system.  Data analysis, reporting, facilitating operational/system issues with internal Residential Solar team, Internal Business Partners and EPCs, and supporting value proposition, pre-pay, and buyout calculations for customers. This role directly contributes to IGS’s goal of scaling our Residential Solar business quickly and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure all manual invoices are completed timely and accurately.

• Follow processes to administer billing files efficiently and effectively.

• Ensure customers are set up in accordance with contract and billing requirements.

• Work billing signals and alerts.

• Conduct quality assurance checks on invoices of all billing types.

• Identify gaps in data process flow and react accordingly with emphasis on process improvement.

• Provide support to internal departments through troubleshooting billing related issues and providing explanations to billing inquiries, escalating issues as necessary.

Required Skills:

• Excellent organization and communication skills.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Previous relevant experience with full ownership of end-to-end process.

• Team player able to develop strong internal working relationships.

• Proficient in MS office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software programs, including navigating several systems.

• Proficient in SQL

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Proficient Microsoft Suite Skills

• 2 years’ experience in a transaction processing operations or related environment is favorable.

• 2 years’ experience in a billing related role

• 2 years minimum experience in a customer service setting

• Solar experience a plus

Salary Range:

$53,480.00 - $85,570.00

*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.

This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
