Position Overview:

  • Responsible for the project management of research initiatives for the organization, including the responsibilities associated with facilitating research proposals, policy, committee review, acceptance, analysis status, author activity and manuscript drafts.  
  • Builds upon the success of the existing mission and research initiatives to grow and retain new and current customers. The overall emphasis of this position is to expand our lifesaving impact in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders with meaningful and reliable research that furthers the impact of resuscitation quality improvement.
  • Responsible, in collaboration with the Sr. Data Impact Analyst, for the development and implementation of the overall research strategy in collaboration with external stakeholder research committees for publications focused on enabling, empowering, and validating that healthcare providers and organizations via training interventions are doing the right thing, at the right time, in the right way, for the right person—with the best possible results.  

Position Holder is Accountable For: 

  • Competence - serving as a subject matter expert, maintaining data expertise of all program data within the RQI Portfolio to ensure feasibility, relevancy, and implications of data access and analysis in research initiatives.
  • Data Transformation – responsible for preparing data for research purposes, including but not limited to, de-identification, reducing file size, and identification of applicable data fields.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - works closely with parent and partner organizations to develop and deliver the research strategy to further the evidence-driven value of our portfolio’s impact.   
  • Research Design – responsible for review and approval of research initiatives, in collaboration with key stakeholder research groups, including manuscript content, development and standardized principles for the analysis and publication of RQIP data.
  • Innovation and Effectiveness – a lead ambassador for driving innovation and standardization within and outside the RQIP organization for the approach to research initiatives that maximize the use of data to accelerate the impact of RQI programs. 
  • Data Quality – responsible for maintaining and demonstrating an expertise in data quality of program data to validate the capability and reliability of data for analysis to measure the impact of the RQI portfolio.
  • Data Access – responsible for maintaining and demonstrating an expertise of data privacy and policy both in the US and internationally that result in the optimal and ethical use of data in research to demonstrate the impact of RQI. 
  • Prepared Organization – responsible for an established collaboration with key stakeholders in the organization to achieve a collaborative and seamless approach to research with customers to accelerate the impact and growth of RQI adoption.
  • Evidence Library – responsible for the management and curation of the RQIP evidence library, ensuring the dissemination and awareness of literature and evidence that validates and/or influences the impact of resuscitation quality improvement.
  • Inclusive and Accessible Design and Compliance - Ensures that dissemination of research initiative materials and interfaces are utilizing best practices, having achieved, or exceeded compliance with accessibility requirements.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field 
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, with at least three (3) years of project management in healthcare, research or related field
  • Familiarity with data management including interpreting, comprehending, and summarizing data
  • Knowledge and experience of inferential statistical analysis and exploratory data analysis as it relates to research design
  • Ability to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple complex projects at different phases
  • Exhibits excellent organizational skills while working independently and in a variety of project teams comprised of internal employees, customers, consultants and combinations thereof
  • Communicates clearly and professionally at multiple levels and with diverse audiences
  • Self-starter who is well-organized and can lead projects from start to finish


The estimated annual base salary for this position is $70,000- $80,000. Please note that this range does not include any other compensation or benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, level of education attained, and/or professional certifications, years of relevant experience, special skills, etc.
