The Opportunity:
Are you interested in solving puzzles and managing solutions? The Fisher Investments’ Research Data Initiatives Program Manager (PM) role is to accelerate our transition to cutting-edge technology and systems. Make a significant impact on Research’s capabilities and contribute to our vision by aiding in portfolio outperformance and scaling the business for the future.
Optimize vendor relationships, test Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, centralize data and collaborate across the Portfolio Management Group and IT to ensure success. You will report to the Securities Research Manager.
The Day-to-Day:
- Lead strategic data and vendor projects throughout the Research Department to solve business problems – developing and managing to a strategic technical roadmap
- Project plan & coordinate the efforts of the research team and our diverse portfolio of external vendors to maximize value, including holding vendors accountable with score cards and reporting
- Foster a collaborative environment and hands-on development through testing and implementing cutting-edge technology
- Communicate across from the individual contributor to the executive level in written reporting and verbal presentations
- Collaborate with motivated peers who share a passion for learning and support Research members at all levels
Your Qualifications:
- 8+ years project management experience managing projects for data, vendors and/or technical solutions
- Experience working with Factset to produce applicable insights-centric to equity performance
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, collaborative, interconnected projects
- Experience maximizing value from outside vendors
- Experience communicating with multiple audiences over several platforms, including executive-level stakeholders
- Passionate about collaborating to solve large-scale challenges
Compensation:
$100,000 - $130,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - new hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
