About you
You’re a mission-driven super organizer, with a knack for helping things run efficiently and effectively. You have research experience and are excited to support a variety of quantitative and qualitative health communication-related studies. You have a working knowledge of the end-to-end research process, strong communication skills, and enjoy developing new systems and processes. You like working both independently and collaboratively and display outstanding attention to detail.
What you'll do
Support research studies, including:
- Conducting literature scans and environmental scans
- Moderating study sessions, like interviews and usability tests
- Helping to develop research briefs, study plans, reports, and research instruments like screeners, surveys, and moderator’s guides
Oversee research logistics, including:
- Communicating with recruitment vendors
- Scheduling with research participants and managing the consent process
- Facilitating research review and clearance processes, like Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions
- Tracking on the team’s use of research tools and software
Requirements
- At least 2 years of related work experience + a bachelor's degree in public health, communication, human-computer interaction, the social sciences, or other related field
- Experience conducting research with diverse audiences
- Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research
- At least 1 semester of formal quantitative research methods
- Proficient in SPSS or other statistical analysis software
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
