Research Assistant

Salary/Position Classification

• $16.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 20 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

The Student Research Assistant (SRA) position will enable research subject participation in research studies focusing on human-computer interaction. No previous research experience is necessary for the successful position applicant. SRA training will be provided. This position is scheduled to last until May 15, 2025.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinating research subject participation through email and an online appointment booking system
• Participant session check-in
• Assisting participants on the wearing of digital devices during their research session
• Administering the experiment session to include the answering of participant questions, use of devices under study, and administering research surveys
• Sending follow-up questionnaires to research participants via email

Minimum Requirements

• Current UND Student
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
