Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Renovation Loan Coordinator to join our team. This role focuses on managing the pre-closing and post-closing processes of renovation loans, ensuring all contractor validations, disclosures, and documentation are accurately processed and maintained. The ideal candidate will be skilled in document management systems like OneDrive and DocuSign, and have experience with Encompass and RLS systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Distribute renovation-specific disclosures and contractor validation packages via DocuSign.
  • Perform contractor reference checks and validate contractor information through phone calls, Google searches, and document analysis.
  • Manage and update contractor Certificates of Insurance (COI) and Workers' Compensation Certificates.
  • Utilize Lexis Nexis for contractor reviews and follow-up on title and insurance orders.
  • Confirm permits with local permitting authorities and ensure the accuracy of all related documentation.
  • Create and manage files in the Renovation Lending Software (RLS) and Encompass systems, including input of preliminary numbers and processing documents.
  • Send out weekly status reports and welcome emails to relevant parties.
  • Monitor and update expiring licenses and insurance, and manage post-closing contractor changes.
  • Facilitate communication regarding completed and in-process draws, ensuring all parties are informed and documentation is uploaded to RLS and OneDrive.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Proven experience in loan processing, renovation projects, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with DocuSign, OneDrive, Encompass, and Renovation Lending Software (RLS).
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and follow-up efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
