Position Title: Workers’ Compensation Claim Consultant – TX ClaimsLocation: Remote (Reporting to Dallas, TX)Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CSTSalary Range: $75,000 – $85,000

 

The posted salary reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate of the base pay range for this role, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include bonuses, benefits, or other forms of pay. About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claim Consultant to manage a remote, multi-account desk handling Texas claims exclusively. This role offers a structured workday and the opportunity to support a variety of industries while collaborating with a seasoned and supportive team.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Handle Texas workers’ compensation claims from start to finish in accordance with state laws and client-specific protocols.

  • Manage a diverse caseload across multiple client accounts and industries.

  • Evaluate and recommend reserves within established authority levels.

  • Review and process settlements, payments, and medical/legal invoices.

  • Communicate effectively with attorneys, nurse case managers, and vendors to ensure timely progression of claims.

  • Prepare timely and accurate status reports and reserve updates.

  • Attend virtual hearings, mediations, and legal proceedings as needed.

  • Deliver high-quality service that reflects CCMSI’s standards and exceeds client expectations.

Qualifications

What You Bring

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience adjusting Texas Workers’ Compensation claims.

  • Active Texas Workers’ Compensation Adjuster License.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Texas WC law and procedures.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
