Our client in the IT Services and Consulting industry is looking for a Remote Senior z/OS Performance Consultant to join their team in the US. This critical role supports pre-sales and post-sales processes by conducting technical discovery calls, leading software demonstrations, and managing the technical aspects of software Proof of Concepts. The successful candidate will have familiarity with SMF, RMF, and associated performance data, along with a proven ability to analyze and interpret mainframe performance data to drive business solutions. This position is crucial for guaranteeing seamless software implementation and heightened customer satisfaction through expert technical guidance. [Remote] Senior z/OS Performance Consultant Responsibilities

•    Lead discovery calls, software demos, and Proof of Concepts during sales cycles
•    Support data collection and software setup for onsite and SaaS implementations 
•    Manage technical account ownership for assigned clients
•    Analyze performance of z/OS Systems and various subsystems
•    Develop and implement remediation plans for performance issues
•    Provide 2-3 product technical support to customers 
•    Train customers on product use and performance optimization
•    Create technical content, including white papers and webinars

[Remote] Senior z/OS Performance Consultant Qualifications

•    5+ years of z/OS performance analysis experience required
•    Familiarity with SMF, RMF, and associated performance data required
•    Ability to analyze and interpret mainframe performance data required
