REMOTE OpenVMS Administrator Description

REMOTE OpenVMS Administrator Responsibilities

•    Administer and support legacy OpenVMS systems
•    Provide technical support, from single server environments to complex, high-availability systems
•    Manage system performance, troubleshooting, and backups
•    Ensure optimal system functionality
•    Respond promptly to after-hours client requests as necessary
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system performance and support

REMOTE OpenVMS Administrator Qualifications

•    5+ years of OpenVMS administration experience required 
•    Experience with DCL (Digital Command Language) scripting required 
•    Experience backups and disk management required 
•    Experience managing physical and virtual platforms required
•    Must be able to provide after-hours on-call support occasionally
