The Opportunity
We seek a skilled and motivated Content Marketing Specialist to develop and execute content strategies and marketing campaigns for Visio Lending. To develop a thorough understanding of the single-family residential investment and surrounding ecosystem of service providers, communicate market dynamics, and provide input into key messaging to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation across multiple platforms.
You will contribute to the Marketing team by:
- Assisting in developing and executing comprehensive content strategies to drive brand awareness and growth across multiple platforms
- Identifying opportunities for new website content relevant to our target audience
- Providing content distribution recommendations to Junior Brand Manager
- Scheduling and managing regular meetings internally with other departments to source new content
- Ensuring content is optimized for SEO and follows best practices for search engine rankings
- Coordinating reporting and strategy with SEO partners
- Assisting with composition, editing, and publishing engaging content including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, email newsletters, social media posts, and web copy
- Assisting with gathering and analyzing customer insights to inform content and marketing decisions
- Monitoring and analyzing content performance using analytic tools
- Providing additional assistance to marketing initiatives as needed
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needs
- Available Remote Locations: AL, AK, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IA, IN, KS, KY, LA, MO, NC, OH, SC, TX, UT, WI
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm CST
- Salary Range: $52,000 - $61,000/annually (Exempt level position)
What We Are Looking For:
- Someone with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
- Someone with 1- 2 years experience in content marketing, or related areas (may be substituted with relevant course work or internship)
- Someone with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
- Someone with familiarity with analytics tools and the ability to interpret data
- Someone with a solid understanding of social media platforms and content promotion strategies
- Someone who is creative thinking with the ability to adapt content for different channels and audiences
- Someone who is proficient in computer software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics
- Internal Applicants: 6 months of Visio Lending work experience which includes no disciplinary actions within the last 3 months. Current Manager notification is needed in order to apply for a vacant position. Any applicant that does not meet these conditions will require approval from the executive team member over the hiring department prior to extending a job offer
What We Prefer to Find:
- Someone who has experience with digital marketing, social media, or content creation
- Someone who has experience with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Someone with knowledge of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot)
- Someone with experience in video production and editing
- Someone with a basic understanding of graphic design or proficiency in design software
- Someone with experience or demonstrated interest in similar or relevant industries (financial services, lending, real estate, etc.)
