What You’ll Be Doing:
The Centralized Operations Lead is responsible for supporting both their direct leader and the Centralized Operations team. This individual will proactively identify areas for improvement within the team and collaborate with others to develop strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. As a seasoned team member with a proven track record of success in the critical functions of the Centralized Operations team, the Lead will leverage their expertise and leadership skills to guide and mentor team members and collaborate effectively with regional site teams.
- Handles agent duties and provides coverage during vacations and absences. Perform other duties and participate in special projects, as assigned.
- Oversees daily team operations, identifies employee obstacles and informs the direct Manager for resolution.
- Conducts performance audits for team members and analyzes key metrics to ensure and enhance quality control standards to share results with their direct Manager to address.
- Assist in developing and delivering training programs for new and existing employees, including refreshers.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date training materials and department documentation.
- Collaborate with business partners to ensure alignment with policies and procedures and achieve business objectives.
- Partner with their direct Manager to identify trends, issues or areas of concern related to processes and procedures; recommend process improvements, as appropriate.
- Provides general guidance to the team and serves as a subject matter expert and resource.
- Ensures the team adopts all policy and process changes and responds positively and creatively to changes within the department.
- Assists in monitoring team’s performance against objectives. Evaluates team processes, policies and procedures, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Also, helps identify and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain expertise in department systems and processes, including but not limited to, CRM, MRI and CXOne.
- Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintains a professional courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public.
What You’ll Need to Thrive:
- Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- College degree or some college coursework is preferred
- Experience in computer work including and demonstrated ability to navigate within a Windows environment is required; familiarity with Google is a plus.
- Must have high quality written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to think and take action quickly.
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to work unsupervised

- Must demonstrate leadership qualities with the ability to evaluate team productivity, and provide feedback on team performance
- Ability to interpret, evaluate and communicate detailed written or verbal instructions to others accurately and quickly, including answering phones, attending meetings, written correspondence, or other forms of communication.
- Ability to communicate effectively (expressing or exchanging ideas using the spoken or written word). This skill/ability is essential for work activities in which workers must impart or receive detailed information through oral or written communication.
- Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 10 pounds to disseminate documents, move technology, etc
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
Salary:
$23.19 - $28.98 / hour; employees are eligible for overtime pay and performance incentives
The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
Working Environment:
This position is 100% remote (work from home) in the following locations: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Washington DC. Please note: candidates located in California would need to relocate to another EQR market for this opportunity.
