Purpose

Support the McCombs School of Business Master of Science Program Office (MSPO) on the admissions and yield process for domestic and international applicants. This position is a remote non-benefits eligible part-time role. The employee is responsible for providing space, telephone, laptop and internet capabilities at their remote workplace, and will not be reimbursed for these or related expenses. The location of the remote workplace cannot be in a public place to ensure confidentiality of information. Virtual attendance at training and a weekly virtual meeting is required.


Responsibilities

  • Remotely review applications for the MS programs in Salesforce for completeness, scoring specific aspects of the application, as well as tabulating and disseminating admission information on a rolling basis to the appropriate MSPO staff. A detailed rubric or clear prospectus of a qualified candidate and a template to report the appropriate scoring information will be provided.​

  • Reviewer will record review notes in Salesforce and provide initial recommendation.

  • Support the admissions and recruiting teams with phone and email outreach to high quality incomplete applicants and admitted applicants.

  • Perform phone or Zoom interviews of applicants as necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage high volume workloads with competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Willingness to learn the necessary skills to retrieve applications and report evaluations in a CRM environment (Salesforce).

  • Experience working in an academic, career coaching, or recruiting capacity

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in admissions and knowledge of relevant qualifications for entry into graduate programs.

  • Experience in performing, managing and troubleshooting application processing, evaluation and review, including making admission decisions on applications.

  • Experience processing applications within a CRM environment.

Salary Range

  • $30 per hour.

Working Conditions

  • Work schedule is part-time, hours will vary on a weekly basis. Weekly hours will range from 0-20.

  • This is a remote position, based out of Austin, Texas. Applicants must be willing to work during Central Standard Time hours.
