REMOTE Aeronautical Information Specialist

The Intelligence Group at Leidos currently has an opening for an Aeronautical Information Specialist.  This is an exciting opportunity to use aeronautical experience supporting the DoD Aeronautical Safety of Navigation mission.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage incoming worldwide aeronautical updates.

Support Terminal Instrument procedure production processes.

Review aeronautical safety of navigation documents and data for viability and accuracy.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires BS degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
  • At least one year experience frequently working with Terminal Instrument Procedures (Instrument Approach Procedures, Departure Procedures, and Standard Terminal Arrivals). 
  • This experience could come from a variety of backgrounds including TERPS, Flight Crew, Mission Planning, etc. 
  • A thorough understanding of the information portrayed on Terminal Instrument Procedures is expected. 
  • Candidate must be detail oriented. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and ability to quickly learn CAD software techniques is needed. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with foreign aeronautical source is beneficial.

Experience using Bentley software products is a plus.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $42,250.00 - $76,375.00
