Jefferson Healthcare is looking for a skilled and compassionate remote Access Center Specialist (Care Team Specialist I) to join our Patient Engagement team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others. Responsibilities include answering patient phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, monitoring and returning voicemails, and verifying insurance information. The ability to multitask and handle patient inquiries with sensitivity and professionalism is a must. What you'll need:

  • High School degree or equivalent required
  • One year of related experience in a clinical or medical office or other related experience required
  • Customer Service experience preferred
  • One year of experience using Epic EMR preferred
  • Experience or education providing basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Experience answering high volumes of phone calls preferred

Schedule: 1.0 FTE, 40hr/week; Day Shift, No weekends!
