We’re looking for an experienced Release Train Engineer to join our mature team and drive and coordinate the success of our Agile Release Train (ART). Are you ready to make your mark? Then you sound like a Worldpayer.
About the team
The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a key role within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment, responsible for coordinating the execution of Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and ensuring the seamless delivery of value across multiple teams. The RTE coordinates and facilitates program-level processes and synchronizes ART activities to ensure the successful implementation of large-scale Agile projects.
What you'll own
Plan and execute PI Planning, ART Syncs, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
Ensure alignment and collaboration across multiple Agile teams within the ART.
Manage Risks and Dependencies: Identify, track, and mitigate risks and dependencies to ensure smooth delivery.
Lead and coach Scrum masters and product owners: Help identify and ensure consistent practices across multiple teams within the ART.
Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and drive process enhancements.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including Product Management, Development Management, System Architects, and Business Owners.
Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on ART performance metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile project management or a similar role.
Proven experience in managing large-scale Agile projects and Release Trains.
Certifications: SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or other relevant Agile certifications.
Technical Expertise: Demonstrate knowledge of software development practices, DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile scaling frameworks.
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and facilitation skills. Ability to manage conflicts and drive consensus.
Experience with Broadcom PPM tooling, especially Rally and Clarity data models, and integration opportunities
