Acentra seeks a Release Coordinator to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

As a Release Coordinator in Operations, you will be part of a team maintaining a large-scale MMIS (Medicaid Management Information Systems) for our state government customers.  You will work to perform analysis, joint development releases and patching plans with colleagues and customer, as well as manage planned tasks and project work across the MMIS program suite of applications.

*Position is remote, within the United States.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain the overall release, upgrade, and patching schedules, under moderate supervision. 
  • Attend and lead key project status meetings internally and with customer. 
  • Create, monitor, and escalate issues in tasks tracked in the ticketing systems – both customer-facing and internal (Service Desk) to foster on-time performance.
  • Lead and moderate planned activities (releases, patching, upgrades, cutovers) as the pacesetter and escalation point of contact.
  • Coordinate with teammates globally to ensure identified activities are completed on time.           
  • Maintain alignment with, and collaborate in improvement of, company processes and procedures regarding project reporting and planning.
  • Coach other project team members on processes.         
  • Keep manager apprised of all activities, issues, and risks.

Requirements

Required Qualifications/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3 years of relevant work experience or at least 4+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) as well as system support and maintenance processes, evidenced by awareness of all the teams required to complete the SDLC.
  • Proven record of maintaining and using SharePoint applications, Microsoft Teams, Jira (Software and Service Desk).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and Project.

 

Preferred Qualifications/Experience: 

  • PMI or ITIL certifications preferred.
  • Experience supporting system operations where Service Level Agreements and standard operating procedures and ITIL processes are in place, highly preferred.

Compensation 

The pay range for this position is $63,700-90,000.

Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant’s placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
