Position Overview 

Legato Security is seeking a full time Regional Security Sales Manager, focusing on the Western US. This is an exciting role based remotely. The Regional Security Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the entire end-to-end sales cycle starting with opportunity identification through deal closure. This will be through both direct and partner sales. The Regional Security Sales Manager will identify and generate new managed services and professional services opportunities and track day-to-day opportunity performance and communicate selling activities across both to Sales Leadership.  The Regional Security Sales Manager will become an expert at establishing key stakeholder relationships and collaborate with technology vendors and partners. The Regional Security Sales Manager will also become proficient in various SIEM platforms, including: Sumo Logic, Securonix, and Splunk. In various End Point Platforms, including: Crowd Strike, Carbon Black, and Sentinel 1. And various firewall administration, including: Palo Alto, Cisco and Fortinet.    

The Regional Security Sales Manager will help develop and execute sales plays that align with organizational sales processes and the overall Go-To-Market execution strategy for Legato Security.  They will track deal progression and forecasting by utilizing CRM technology and ensure end to end value is being delivered to every client. 

The position reports to the Vice President, Sales and will play a strategic role providing real-time market information to key stakeholders within the business to help Legato continue to grow. 

Specific Job Responsibilities 

  • Hunter, generate demand by developing new services and regional account plans 
  • Drive sales of MSSP services by emphasizing security features 
  • Understand client security needs and tailor solutions accordingly 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional clients  
  • Help achieve quarterly revenue, bookings, targets through appropriate client engagement  
  • Act as solution expert to clients and partners utilizing the Legato sales strategy 
  • Engage complex clients at a detailed level to gain an understanding of the business issues and objectives driving the client’s needs  
  • Ensure all deals and account planning includes appropriate Sales Plays, Consulting, Technical, and managed service components  
  • Contribute to strategic planning activities across prospective client bases to identify and position opportunities based on Legato service offerings 
  • Maintain general knowledge of other service offerings within Legato Security 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s or higher is required, preferably in Information Technology or Business, or equal work experience.  
  • Relevant partner experience highly desired, specifically in the Western US region
  • At least 8+ years of Enterprise sales experience and/or 2+ years of direct cybersecurity sales experience, including both channel and direct experience   
  • Proven success in consultative/solution based selling 
  • Proven success in both new client acquisition and business development preferred  
  • Salesforce, CRM experience desired 
  • Must possess strong communication skills 
  • Effective and organized with account planning  
  • In depth knowledge of business drivers related to customer needs (pain points) 
  • Effective interacting and relationship building at senior levels as well as technical levels within the client environment  
  • Self-Starter with the ability to quickly learn and apply in the field  

Compensation 

We conduct ongoing market research to ensure competitive pay at all levels. The compensation range for this role is $120,000-$130,000 base DOE + commission.
