As the Regional Sales Manager - Yogurt and Fermented Products, you’ll work closely with our business and product management teams to align sales strategies with product development and market trends in our dynamic dairy portfolio. Your key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and comprehensive customer plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for the yogurt ingredients portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular visits, communication, and support.  Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to customers. Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions for customers and internal teams.
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers on the application and benefits of cultures, enzymes, hydrocolloids, and nutritional ingredients.
  • Collaborate with R&D and technical teams to develop customized solutions for customers.

 

This position is a US Home-based role.  The position is ideally located in the eastern or central time zones of the United States.   Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training. This position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the pay scale provided.   Salary $137,500-$154,000.

You bring

 

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a technical focus, technical sales and/or business development role in the yogurt segment required
  • Strong technical knowledge of cultures, enzymes, hydrocolloids, and nutritional ingredients
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical solutions to customers.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with customers and attend industry events (approximately 50%)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or master’s degree a plus
