Your opportunity:
As an Accurex Regional Sales Manager you are responsible for managing multiple sales offices within an assigned region with many direct reports. You will be responsible for maximizing overall sales growth within an assigned region. This role is responsible for strategic, high-level decisions regarding the development of new customers, business development strategies, and growth/retention of existing customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the region’s sales account management team, including management, development & mentorship of sales office / territory leaders, new hire selection and onboarding, and staffing and resource requirements.
- Develop and implement the region’s strategic sales plan and budget.
- Implement sales strategies and product promotions; maximizing growth while minimizing sales channel conflicts.
- Monitor and communicate market pricing levels and delivery requirements; manage price discounts to desired levels.
- Work with the business development team to expand chain accounts business in key market segments and execute successful transition of new chain accounts from the business development team to the account management team.
- Attend trade shows, product shows, and buying group meetings as necessary.
- Utilize CRM to effectively manage sales activity within the region.
- Provide customer service support as needed, particularly intervening to help resolve complex, challenging situations and collaborating with internal support teams as needed.
- Coordinate customer visits to the Education Center and manufacturing facilities.
- Continually look for ways to improve both internal and external operating procedures. Communicate any recommended modifications that increase customer service levels, engagement, productivity, and improvement in the credit, production, and scheduling and shipping areas (from pre-sale all the way through post-sale).
- Effectively communicate requirements and needs to business unit product managers, which include specials, product needs, pricing savings, program needs, literature, and videos. Serve as a consultant to the business unit teams bringing product feedback from the field.
What you should have:
- 6-8 years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 4 years of work experience in the HVAC industry or other technical fields required.
- Ability to make technical and non-technical presentations in front of large groups required.
- 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required
- Must be able to travel 25% of time.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive total compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package as part of our total rewards program. The compensation for this role includes base salary along with the opportunity to earn additional variable compensation based on achieving specific performance metrics. The starting base pay range for this position is $136,169-$168,209 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
